First launched in 1988 the House of Beaverdale began producing a pure grape juice concentrate of high quality allowing people to produce in their own homes a range of wines to rival those produce professionally.
The wine is ready to drink within a week of being finished but improves with keeping.
The Merlot grape produces a rich fruity non-astringent wine that, because of its softness, is often blended with many of the world's finest red wines.
